Wilson Trail Section 10

🚶🏻‍➡️【Wilson Trail • Section 10 (衛奕信徑 • 第10段)】 kicks off at Sin Ku Fung, one of the prominent peaks of Pat Sin Leng. This route primarily traces the historical alignment of the Wang Tsit Ancient Trail. This old flagstone path was once the vital overland conduit linking the historic settlements of Wang Shan Keuk Lower Village and Tsit Muk Kiu Village. Although the surrounding hamlets have long been abandoned to nature, the masonry work of the ancient trail remains remarkably intact, providing modern hikers with a beautifully atmospheric route. The journey begins with a descent from Sin Ku Fung. After navigating a series of stone steps, the path cuts into a hillside trail and hooks a left to merge briefly with the Pat Sin Leng Nature Trail. This section features rolling terrain and requires crossing a few small mountain streams, where views are occasionally framed and sheltered by dense woodland canopy. Pushing forward, you will pass the crumbling architectural ruins of the old villages. Though only collapsed stone walls and old foundations remain, these relic sites exude a powerful, rustic charm. The ancient stone steps are beautifully preserved, winding gracefully through the wild landscape before leading into Tsit Muk Kiu Village. Along this historical stretch, walkers will cross Kiu Shan Bridge—a structure named in memory of the old Kiu Shan School that once stood in Lower Tsit Muk Kiu Village. To wrap up the section, the route follows a paved vehicle road on a steady descent, bringing you straight to the official end of Section 10, where you can easily connect to Luk Keng Road or the local minibus terminus for outbound transit.
