Developed by the Hong Kong Housing Authority, Yiu On Estate was designed by the Chief Architect of the Housing Department, with Wong Tung & Partners serving as the detailed project architects. The site of the estate was formerly a pier where iron ore from the old Ma On Shan Mine was shipped to Japan.
