The Sheung and Ha Miu Tin Information Board provides a historical account of Sheung and Ha Miu Tin. These two Hakka villages were once home to about 80 residents from the Tsang and Mo clans. By the 1970s, the villagers had completely relocated to Tai Po, leaving the abandoned houses to collapse and become entirely swallowed by overgrown vegetation.
