The geological structure of the Lin Ma Hang area is primarily composed of volcanic and granitic rocks. Through millions of years of geological processes, these rocks have shaped today’s unique terrain. Lead ore is mainly found within the fractures and veins of these rocks, and miners extracted the ore using drilling and blasting techniques. After smelting, pure lead was extracted from these ores for various industrial purposes.
