Walking about 2.3 kilometres from the starting point at 🚉MTR Kennedy Town Station , we arrived at the Mount Davis Service Reservoir. The Mount Davis Service Reservoir is a fresh water service reservoir located at Mount Davis on Hong Kong Island; with a capacity of 127,000 cubic metres, it stands as the largest service reservoir on the island and was commissioned in 1966. The top of the Mount Davis Service Reservoir features a grassy lawn, making it a wonderful spot for picnics, dates, and admiring High West. In early 2011, authorities planned to allocate approximately HK$4 million to refurbish the area for use by hikers.
