Luk Chau Shan Rock Forest is a small peak located northwest of Ngong Ping in Ma On Shan, Shatin District, in the northeastern part of the New Territories, Hong Kong, sitting right between Ma On Shan and Shek Nga Shan. Luk Chau Shan features two main peaks: the western peak near Chevalier Garden holds the triangulation station, while the eastern peak above the old village of Shek Lung Tsai is also known as Shek Lung Tsai, which is home to the famous “Luk Chau Shan Rock Forest” known for its bizarre rock formations and giant boulders.
