Kuk Po: Kuk Po Vision – Kuk Po Living Room

Kuk Po Vision is a conservation project led by a team from the Faculty of Architecture at 《The University of Hong Kong》 (HKU). “Kuk Po Common” is the new name given to the “Row E Classrooms” (originally added in 1963) after the team restored them from a ruined state. 《Restoration Design》: The project started in 2021 and wrapped up in 2023. The design preserves the original wooden trusses and tiled roof while introducing transparent tiles to boost natural indoor lighting. They also added steel-and-wood window bays and seating, turning what was once a closed-off classroom into a shared community space.
