Tung Shan Fat Mun refers to the Dharma door of the Fifth Patriarch. It was named East Mountain because the Fifth Patriarch, Zen Master Hongren, lived on Huangmei Mountain in Huangmei County, Qizhou, which was situated in the eastern part of the county.
