Looking back after passing the Ngong Ping Plateau – Archway, the other side of the archway actually reads Phoenix Watching Sunrise – Archway, guiding hikers towards Lantau Peak. Besides being the second highest peak in Hong Kong, Lantau Peak is also a famous spot for catching the sunrise.
