Lion Rock is a famous mountain and landmark in Hong Kong. Situated between Kowloon and the New Territories, it is one of the mountains of the Kowloon Ridge, standing at an elevation of 495 metres. Lion Rock forms the core part of Lion Rock Country Park and is the namesake of the park itself. Its appearance resembles a crouching lion and it can be seen from many areas across Kowloon.
