Walking about 3.5 kilometres from the starting point at 🚉MTR Kennedy Town Station, we reached the end of Mount Davis Road and turned onto Pok Fu Lam Road ahead. The large tree standing right before our eyes is known as the “Chinese Banyan”. The “Chinese Banyan (Ficus microcarpa)” is one of the most common plants in Hong Kong, widely distributed across both the urban and natural environments of the territory. It features a beautiful appearance, providing pleasant shade and a natural atmosphere, while also carrying significant ecological and cultural value. The Chinese Banyan plays a vital role in Hong Kong’s landscape, adding abundant greenery and vitality to the city.
