Reaching the end of Mount Davis Road and turning left, follow along Pok Fu Lam Road for a short distance; passing through a pedestrian subway will lead you toward Old Pok Fu Lam Road / Ka Yu Court. Old Pok Fu Lam Road is a road located in the western part of Hong Kong Island and serves as the predecessor to the current Pok Fu Lam Road. It forms a part of the Kwan Tai Lo, having existed since before 1840 as the primary thoroughfare connecting the City of Victoria and Aberdeen. In 1980, the government widened and straightened a section of Pok Fu Lam Road from its junction with Smithfield to its junction with Mount Davis Road; the original winding sections were downgraded to access roads for nearby residential properties and renamed Old Pok Fu Lam Road. Old Pok Fu Lam Road is home to numerous historical buildings along its route, such as St. Anthony’s Church, St. Stephen’s Church College, and St. Paul’s College. Old Pok Fu Lam Road is currently accessible only to light vehicles and is subject to one-way traffic restrictions.
