Walking about 2.3 kilometres from the starting point at 🚉MTR Kennedy Town Station , we arrived at the Mount Davis Service Reservoir. The Mount Davis Service Reservoir is a fresh water service reservoir located at Mount Davis on Hong Kong Island; with a capacity of 127,000 cubic metres, it stands as the largest service reservoir on the island and was commissioned in 1966. Numerous World War II relics remain near the Mount Davis Service Reservoir, with the Mount Davis Fort situated up on the hill and the Jubilee Battery located down below. At the summit of Mount Davis, one can take in sweeping panoramic ocean views of western Hong Kong Island, with Green Island, Little Green Island, Lamma Island, Cheung Chau, Lantau Island, Peng Chau, Sunshine Island, Kau Yi Chau, and Siu Kau Yi Chau all fully visible at a glance.
