Visitor Info Board: Home of Sports

The 《Lai Chi Wo Piazza》 originally served as the sports ground for Siu Ying School, complete with basketball hoops and soccer goals. Interestingly, most of the boys here played soccer, while the girls were passionate about basketball, and friendly matches between neighboring villages were a common occurrence. Despite the basic facilities at the time, the students possessed immense athletic talent and trained incredibly hard, ultimately capturing the championship in the 1958 New Territories Four Districts Academic Basketball Tournament.
