Nestled in the northeastern New Territories, covers an area of about 530 hectares. Thanks to its border location and decades of minimal human disturbance, its natural habitats remain remarkably pristine. The northern slopes are dominated by secondary woodlands and shrublands, featuring lush and dense vegetation, while the high grounds of the southern slopes consist mainly of grasslands and sparse shrublands. This area nurtures a rich diversity of flora and fauna, many of which are of high conservation value.
