Traces of the Anti-Japanese War at Robin’s Nest‘: Located in the northeast of Hong Kong, hugging the border while overlooking Starling Inlet to the east and connecting to the Shenzhen River to the north, Robin’s Nest was a vital military stronghold during times of war. Various WWII military installations, such as pillboxes and trenches, still remain here. Furthermore, Lin Ma Hang Village and its lead mine, located northwest of Robin’s Nest Country Park, were the backdrop to the heroic guerrilla operations known as the “Three Attacks on Lin Ma Hang Mine” during the resistance.
