Lantau Peak is the second highest peak in Hong Kong. The main peak (Fung Fung) stands at 934 meters above sea level, just 23 meters shorter than Tai Mo Shan (957m), the highest peak in Hong Kong, making it the highest peak on Lantau Island, while its side peak (Wong Fung) stands at 918 meters above sea level. Lantau Peak is situated west of Sunset Peak, east of Muk Yue Shan, north of Kau Nga Ling, southeast of Ngong Ping and Nei Lak Shan, and southwest of Tei Tong Tsai. The surrounding area is designated within the South Lantau Country Park.
