Section 9 of the Wilson Trail is a highly challenging route, covering a total length of about 10.5 kilometres and requiring around 4.5 hours to complete. This section begins at Cloudy Hill and ends at Sin Gu Fung. This path guides you past several scenic landmarks, including Hok Tau Reservoir, Ping Fung Shan, Wong Leng, and the eight main peaks of Pat Sin Leng. Each summit of Pat Sin Leng is named after one of the Eight Immortals in Taoist mythology, including Shun Yeung, Chung Lei, Kwok Lo, Kwai Lee, Cho Kau, Chai Ho, Cheung Chi, and Sin Gu Fung. This entire section features substantial ups and downs; while certain parts have been fitted with concrete steps, the elevation changes remain massive, demanding a high level of physical fitness.
