Cloudy Hill derives its name from Kau Lung Hang village located at its western foot. Besides hosting the TV transmission tower at its summit, it is a highly popular destination for hikers and nature lovers alike. From here, visitors can take in expansive vistas of Tai Po and Tolo Harbour, alongside the magnificent scenery of the valley plains around Ping Fung Shan and Sha Lo Tung to the northeast. Right before your eyes, the urban landscape of Tai Po and the waters of Tolo Harbour lie just below; Tai Mo Shan, Ma On Shan, and Kai Kung Leng are clearly visible, stretching as far as the mountain ranges of Kowloon Peak and Lion Rock, and even Tai She Tang, Tai Tsim Mei, and Sharp Peak in Sai Kung.
