『Crossing the Frog 🐸』 is a challenging hiking route that takes you from one end of Hong Kong Island to the other. Because the shape of Hong Kong Island on a map resembles a frog, the path of this journey is like cutting a frog right down the middle. There are many different ways to tackle the 『Crossing the Frog 🐸』 route: some people choose the high-difficulty version, scaling every single mountain peak along the way, while others opt for an easier variation by staying on flatter paths as much as possible. This particular itinerary takes a relatively easier route, passing by several of Hong Kong Island’s famous landmarks, such as the Forbes Street Tree Walls, Mount Davis, Lugard Waterfall, The Peak Galleria, Wong Nai Chung Reservoir, and Tai Tam Reservoir. If you want to challenge yourself, you might want to give this route a try to achieve the feat of traversing the east and west extremes of Hong Kong Island 😆💪🏻—it is sure to be an unforgettable journey.
