Japanese Water Reservoir

A stone-built water reservoir can be found within this Japanese position, a feature commonly seen across many Japanese military sites built during World War II. Since most Japanese machine guns were air-cooled and did not require water for barrel cooling, it is believed that this reservoir was primarily used for storing drinking water.
