The Pottinger Peak Country Trail is a hiking path in Hong Kong located on Pottinger Peak between Shek O and Cape Collinson on Hong Kong Island, sitting within the boundaries of Shek O Country Park with a total length of 1.9 kilometres. Starting from Ma Tong Au in Shek O, the views open up immediately after passing the catchment channel section. From there, you can look out across to another hiking hotspot, 🐲Dragon’s Back, with the coastline and bays stretching westward from Big Wave Bay to Shek O, and all the way out to the tip of the Cape D’Aguilar Peninsula, perfectly capturing the coastal scenery and charm of Hong Kong’s surrounding waters.
