Purpose of Distance Posts: Distance posts are installed approximately every 500 metres along country park trails. In the event of an emergency, hikers can use the number on the nearest distance post to state their location, which helps facilitate search and rescue operations. The Lin Ma Hang Country Trail spans about 2.6 kilometres from Lin Ma Hang Village to Robin’s Nest, with distance posts numbered from C8201 to C8205.
