The Tai Tam Family Walk is a short hiking trail located inside Tai Tam Country Park, spanning a total length of about 1.6 kilometres and taking around 1 hour to complete. It is a route well-suited for families and beginner hikers, offering beautiful views of Tai Tam Upper Reservoir and Tai Tam Byewash Reservoir along the way, alongside a viewing platform that looks out across Tai Tam Gap. The starting point of the Tai Tam Family Walk is located at Tai Tam Reservoir Road, where barbecue sites and water dispensers are available nearby. The family walk winds gently along the hillsides, lined with numerous trees, flowers, and plants, where butterflies or other insects can occasionally be spotted. The trail also concludes at Tai Tam Reservoir Road, allowing visitors to either continue exploring the four major reservoirs of Tai Tam or take public transport to depart.
